As a collective, the Loam team offers publishing services to support creatives in our community.
Loam is passionate about sharing stories from folx who are defining regenerative activism in the face of climate collapse and social injustice. As our community flourishes, we want to bridge our experiences in publishing, distribution, and design to share the work of creatives whose vital practices & perspectives have been historically marginalized from mainstream media.
Our intention in working together is to create a supportive space for bringing your story into dynamic being! As a homegrown and heart-powered company working with a small team, we’re committed to naming and creating within our boundaries as part of how we curate creative media that inspires reconnection to our earth and each other. We provide editing, design, publishing, and promotional support to help bring your work into the world.
To do so, we practice respect, transparency, accountability, clear communication, and compassion throughout the process of co-creation. Although the human element is integral to everything that we do at Loam, we are comfortable and used to long-distance collaborations that span across time zones.
Please note that our capacity to take on projects as collaborators (rather than as publishers) is VERY limited and we are currently on pause. We will open up for inquiries beginning in November 2021 for a month.
