We're so very excited to announce our upcoming collaboration with environmental artist Nikita Anderson. In her forthcoming column, "Homemade with Nikita," this Be Zero activist and found object creator will share sweet and simple tips on everything from building container gardens to crafting salves to cooking with scraps. For more on Nikita, check out her bio below and be sure to visit her Patreon page to learn about how Nikita is melding her passion for sustainable living with her deep love of art.

Nikita is an environmentalist, activist, artist, and bookworm.  She’s passionate about creative ways to conserve, including trash art and hand-binding journals from unwanted scraps of paper.  She’s constantly looking for new and clever ways to share love, either by homemade found-object cards or homemade vegan cooking.  Raised in the deep south, she’s always on the search for new and delicious vegan southern cooking (think fried green tomatoes).
