For our summer 2016 print issue, Loam is celebrating women making waves in this wild world. From guerilla gardeners in Detroit to feminist farming collectives in Chile, our goal is to use a “A Woman’s Work” to illuminate the vital energy that female-identifying bodies are bringing to the table in activist spaces across the world. As we work together to find fresh ways to heal our environment and nurture our natural, social, and creative communities, we continue to find inspiration from women who are using their passion and power to wholly embody hope.

We welcome contributions, however, from everyone. Our true intention is to use this issue to illuminate marginalized voices. Send your art/poems/collages/words/DIY projects & dreams to before June 1st to be considered for publication. We are so excited to learn from you and with you!

All our loamy love,

Nicole & Kate
